Welcome everyone to the 66th Agricultural Show in the community field in the heart of Crossmolina town. It feels no length ago since we were here enjoying the hugely successful show day under the miraculous sunshine last year. This year we endeavour to offer you an even better experience with a tightly packed programme of competitions, displays, workshops and live music throughout the day and into the early hours of the night.
Planning & organisation is key to the success of the show and I want to thank our committee for their hardwork and commitment throughout the year for making this day happen. With the addition of new enthusiastic younger members at the fore, it gives me great hope for the future continuation of the agricultural show in Crossmolina.
To all our sponsors who so generously give, year in and year out, we are indebted to your invaluable contributions. We ask that people recognise your contribution and support you where they can.
An Agricultural show is not a show without exhibitors. I thank them for taking the time and effort to prepare for this show. Thank you to all the stewards & volunteers across the field who have given up their time to be part of this community event.
Let us make this day a safe and pleasant one by following the guidance and instructions of stewards, officers & the signs for Health & Safety. Children under twelve must be accompanied by an adult.
In the interest of our ‘Green & Clean’ theme, please Pick up Your Rubbish put in the bins provided and ‘leave no trace’.
